Is there really any cell phone service or WiFi on this cruise?

Not sure which ship you are on, but on the Star there was wifi. Probably all 3 ships have it, should be listed on Windstar's website. You can buy a block of minutes to use the ship wifi on board. Yes, it costs money....it's not cheap.

 

I found the wifi on board to be good enough for checking email.

 

If you have cable/DSL at home, expect the wifi speed on board to be much slower then what you are used to.

 

As far as cell phones go...I have no idea, sorry.
