Am wondering whether or not anyone has ever won in the Oasis casino.

Also, is it larger than the other RCI ships' casinos?

My DW hit some penny slots for a couple of good payouts, like $150 on one, but over all they were tight. Didn't hear many bells going off. But craps and Let it Ride were more fruitful.

 

Size wise 2X the typical.

My DH won $1,000 on the Oasis playing penny slots, while playing less than the maximum bet. It was a "Scrabble" machine - an odd game and a bit boring until the $1,000. We take empty envelopes just in case - when we win we seal up a portion of the money and keep it in the safe, so he actually took home $900 of it.

Thanks all. Shall probably give it a shot although I do like the slots that are, at least, a bit entertaining. There is a machine in Reno - with penquins - that is a real entertainer. I won on it also. The person who came up with that one really has an imagination.

My DH did well on the Video pocker. He play the .25 cent machine at max ($1.25) and he hit the 4 of a kind many times. He hit the 4aces with a kicker a few times. So he was happy.

 

If you're a smoke you will be fine, if not the smell in there is terrible, even on the non-smoking side.

1. Smoke doesn't bother me at all. My dad, uncles, brother and various others all smoked. MY mom lived with it all her life and was almost 99 when she passed away from congenital heart failure.

So, yours truly, will give the casino a shot or two. My DH doesn't like gambling on machines, nor cards at all, but will do it on a ship because he did win $2500 (once) and does love to play bingo - so while he is bingoing, I shall hit the slots.

 

Due to the amount of entertaining things to do, from what I have read, on the oasis, gambling won't be a big thing.
