There is lots of shopping and restaurants, a Walgreen's and Starbucks next door to you. The beach is directly across the street. If you want to go into OSJ, there is a bus stop across the street, it was .75 cents each way the last time we were there, and it will take you directly into the Old Town. If you prefer, taxi's are cheap and plentiful. I doubt you'll run out of things to do. ENJOY!

REALLY wanted OSJ...:(

What is there to do in this area?

If it makes you feel any better, it's a very friendly hotel with a fun casino. Yes, it's older, but the staff is very nice and there's a hopping little club downstairs and a nice restaurant and sports bar at the top.

Anyone know how far this hotel is from Old San Juan, and is it possible to walk/run. Looking for a little workout before we over indulge for the next 7 days on the ship. My thought is we could run to Old San Juan for breakfast, head up the hill to the fort then walk/run home, or maybe get a cab depending on how we are feeling.

We stayed there a few years ago (Priceline as well) and I must say we thought it was more than okay! The rooftop pool was pretty good....better than the Sheraton Old San Juan actually. I remember that the room had a small balcony too.

We walked down Ashford Street for breakfast, lunch oand / or dinner and found it easy to go get Americano coffee and an egg sandwich at Burger King next door. There's plenty of restaurant choices in the area as there is a hospital in just up the street.

My husband enjoyed playing cards with the locals in the Casino and we enjoyed walking down Ashford. I'm sure anyone looking to go out for a run would find it easy to run all the way down Ashford to the bridge head to the piers.

We were just in the Radisson on Christmas Eve and loved it.

We had a beautiful room (second floor, new part) with a gorgeous, comfortable king-sized bed. The room was clean and VERY spacious - actually had 2 parts/rooms. AND a balcony. The bathroom has lots of beautiful granite and there is lots of storage room in the closets, dressers. Also had nice sized fridge.

The internet cafe upstairs was great to quickly print off our flight tickets before leaving. Didn't use the pool upstairs because we went to the beach but it looked nice when we checked it out.

It was a short walk to the beach and we had a nice swim and relaxing rest there in the sun on the beach.

No complaints with the Radisson. Booked it through Priceline as well.

I loved my experience with the Radisson. Will go there again! :)
