musicfam Posted November 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2010 What is the most fun thing for kids to do on Labadee? 4, 8, 10 and 12.
cantwait2cruize Posted November 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 26, 2010 Have your kids collect their old books, school supplies and maybe small toys and donate them to some vendors. The kids in Haiti need school supplies.
cb at sea Posted November 26, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 26, 2010 It's a beach day...whatever kids do at a beach, they can do it at Labadee....swim, dig in the sand, build a sand castle, run wild, climb trees....whatever...they can't hurt the beach! No need to spend a bunch of money to let them have fun!
Merion_Mom Posted November 26, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 26, 2010 They would probably LOVE the Dragon's Tail Coaster.
coast2coast Posted November 26, 2010 #5 Share Posted November 26, 2010 My daughter has had fun at the Arawak Aqua Park. $15/hour, minimum age 4 years old, 48 inches tall. But yes, cb at sea has it right... a day at the beach is great! You can also rent a floaty mat for the day for $12 and have your kids take turns... coast2coast Posted November 26, 2010 #6 Share Posted November 26, 2010 They would probably LOVE the Dragon's Tail Coaster. The 12 year-old would... I believe the minimum age (according to the website) is 12... my DD can't wait to go back there in 18 months... not that we have a cruise booked for that time yet, but she's really looking forward to riding it! ehfl Posted November 26, 2010 #7 Share Posted November 26, 2010 There is a water park they would probably enjoy, with inflatable rock climbing, etc. They also might enjoy the roller coaster, and of course the beach.
James MTL Posted November 26, 2010 #8 Share Posted November 26, 2010 Let me give my old memory a shot here from our November 2009 visit to Labadee. First, they will ALL HAVE A BLAST. There is the coaster which they can do with older kids. There is the Arawak area with all these inflatable things in the water. I did it and it was quite a work out. My kids made it up the floating mountains but I couldn't do it - not even once. In the middle of labadee is a very large kids area. Kind of like the H2O zone but bigger. I also think that all the on board kids programs bring their programs to Labadee too so all kinds of activities on Labadee for them too.
