Southwest has opened bookings through August

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the heads up. I'm looking to depart the the 12th, and come back the week of the 18th or 19th. Since the rates arent bad, i make book the one way now, and add the return when it become available.

It'll be my first trip to Vegas. I have comp points with all the Harrah's hotels, so onyl thing I'll be paying for is airfare.

Do you know if the bookings include the new AirTran routes they will be taking over in March?

Depends, I used to work for AT and still have friends at many different stations, when the buyout is complete (it is still in negotiations, despite all the press) it will take time for each station to convert to SW. For example, SW doesn't fly out of Dallas/Ft. Worth, they have to fly out of the other local smaller airport, so it will take longer to move that station compared to others, if that makes sense.
