Should I upgrade?

We have 2 rooms booked on the Destiny on the 6th floor. I just got one of the emails where I can upgrade to another floor for $20 per room. Should I? Are there disadvantages to the 6th floor? I loved it on RCCL...but if it is noisy or somehting, then I would prefer to move.

Thanks in advance!!!:D

6th floor easy to walk down one flight and hang out on the promenade. Are you above a lounge?? Otherwise I would prefer the 6th or 8th or 9th deck. Deck 7 is 2 flights up and 2 flights down to lido or promenade, the main places where Id be hanging out. Id prefer deck 6 to deck 7

I was mid ship above the casino .. no noise, but I was portside. If you are above the area on starboard side, midship is about where there is live music .. that and the lounge in back are the two noisy spots.

Iv also been portside, just back from the mid ship elevator, and no noise there either, far enough back from the music.

I'd move as aft deck 6 get noise from the lounge below, midship from the Casino and dance places, bow get some noise from showroom. Pull up the deck plans and see what you can get if it's a better location I'd go for it. We had an aft on 7 one of the L-shapes never heard anything from above or below when we were on her last February.
