Freedom or Liberty Dilema

We are trying to decide on whether to go on the Freedom of the Seas 7 day cruise, inside cabin or Liberty of the Seas 6 day balcony. They are both western. Liberty itinerary is Belize, Cosa Maya, Cozumel. Freedom itinerary is Labadee, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel.

I'd do the 6 day in a balcony.....cruising is much more fun with an actual view.

I would do the cheaper of the two --

Do the Liberty, the ships are the same or close enough. Both go to Cozumel, Belize beats Jamaica, and a balcony will be more enjoyable than an inside cabin. It is a day shorter but you will have a great time either way.

I like Freedom's itinerary better and I much prefer 7 nights to 6 nights. I, personally, do not care about a balcony and we have never had one. I am out of the room by 5AM and except for brief stops I am not back in it until 1-2AM. The Freedom class ships are awesome. If you go with the inside cabin you still have the entire ship for your use.

 

I would not pick based on cabin type. However, I can tell you that some folks on these boards would not sail without a balcony. You have to decide what is important to you.
