Constellation's new Martini Bar

Is the seating around the new Martini bar on Constellation conducive to having a nice size group (of say 12-14 people) gathering together each night?

I'm hoping we may be able to slide some chairs together so we can talk as one big group. :D

Hi Roy & Linda !

I believe the Martini Bar is a bit smaller than the Solstice Class. However, there are several tables and chairs adjacent to the Martini Bar, and an additional Bar area named Crush - which is closer to the Casino. You should be able to sit as a small group, especially when it's not too busy. In peak hours, the Bar was pretty active.

I hope this helps !

There was always a big crowd at the Martini Bar after first seating and before second seating. Most of the tables were taken as well.

And those glasses were large; this made it difficult to walk around carrying one of the glasses. But after late seating (and I suppose during late dinner as well) there should be plenty seats. I wouldn't know.... we always had a bottle of champagne at dinner; so additional drinking was never required!

One of my comments was to eliminate Crush and extend the Martini Bar.

Was crush open/operating when you guys were on the Connie? We were on the July 3rd Baltic Cruise just after the renovations and there was no ice at the Crush Bar. My DH enjoys his martini and the Martini Bar was the only place to get a good one so we spent much time there - GREAT bartenders!! One day we got there and the bar was "leaking" - not Crush but the Martini Bar! It seemed that there were problems with some of work done in drydock. But none of that effected the martinis thank goodness!

Make sure you see the "act" the bartenders have when they make three martinis and then pour them at the same time - they're fun guys!!

And take care of the bar - we'll be there next September!!

I never saw anyone bartending at Crush; but I really didn't spend a lot of time in those bars. I never even had the Martini Flight.

Maybe next time....
