UK food item you wish was onboard

Is there a food/drink item you enjoy at home that you really wish was available on the ships you cruise on ?

Marmite, and proper cheddar cheese. Yum!

If it's not a British managed ship, I make sure I've some Yorkshire Tea with me.....

On an NCL ship, I found that the cocktail "Sex on the Beach" had been down graded to "Love on the Beach"!...tasted the same, though.

And I was amused to find bottles of HP sauce on Sea Princess in the Caribbean....

On the whole, there's more than enough choice of tasty stuff, whatever the line.....

I agree, there is nothing better than proper cheddar cheese, the cheese on board just isn't the same.

Proper bacon, none of that American rubbish :p, or Canadian stuff passed off as English.

 

Black pudding for breakfast, proper English sausages (Lincolnshire preferably) for breakfast and pub lunch.

 

Agree with the marmite and proper cheddar as well. I do love toasted cheese and marmite for a snack.

We love fresh baked scones with jam and cream, served on some lines.

We were on our 2nd cruise on NCL Jade before we discovered they were actually being served in the tiny outside buffet!;)

A nice Yorkshire Pudding with the beef.

We found Marmite on the Summit last year and the buffet staff gave me the jar for my personnal use...Mmmmmmm:D

Decent beer choices, very rare.
