The year of the ash cloud, and the magnificent work done by a few lines to help....we'll always remember Thomson etc, hiring the brand new Celebrity Eclipse, to rescue stranded pax from Spain!

Personally, an invite to stay on the new Azura for her Christening, was the highlight of my year.

Yeah, Thomson's Dream debacle and Celebrity Eclipse's "ferry" service from Spain to England for stranded UK travelers definitely made our short list! It was an eventful year, for sure.
