Our cruise departs on Feb 2nd, and we are looking to spend 3 night prior to the cruise in the LA area. Would it be better to find a place in Long Beach or Santa Monica or Hollywood area?

We will have a car, as we are traveling from San Diego.

Thanks

We are sailing out of San Pedro cruise port. We do not want to stay in San Pedro. We would like to do Universal and Hollywood. We have not made another plans. We will be dropping the car at Long Beach Airport and then take a shuttle to San Pedro.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

You don't give a budget so I will give you 3.

The Sportsmen's Lodge has been recommended on CC many times.

In that area my Dad stays at the hollywoodholidayinnexpress.com when he attends events in that area. He has stayed there many times and likes it.

At Hollywood and Highland is the Renaissance Hotel. I have not stayed there but I am sure it is nice and the location is great. http://www.renaissancehollywood.com/

That gives you a start.
