Luggage after depart before flight?

We are taking our first cruise next week and returning to FLL in the morning but our flight on SouthWest doesn't leave until the evening. Is there anything I can do with our luggage so I am not lugging it around or sitting at the airport for 5 hours? Thanks

Depending on which cruise line you are on, they may offer a service (for a fee) to get your luggage to the airport. On Princess, it's called EZ Check.

 

Bags To Go use to work with Southwest. I had friends that used that service in late November after our Thanksgiving cruise. However, about a week later, others on CC reported problems but I believe those issues have been worked out. There is a thread on the Florida Departure board that you should be able to locate via the search function. You can also google them for their website.

Princess also offers excursions that end at the airport.

Yes---ship's excursions post-cruise will take you AND your luggage to the airport after the tour.
