Table for Two- MTD or Traditional?

My mother and I are going on a 10 nite caribbean/panama cruise in April. She went with a friend in December and was able to receive a table for two.

 

We are currently signed up for traditional dining, early seating. I am wondering if we might be better off signing up for MTD in order to have a better shot at a table for two.

 

Would appreciate any thoughts or prior experiences. Thanks so much in advance for your assistance!

Yes, there are many more tables for 2 in MTD.

Most MTDers want to eat alone...that's where your best shot will be.

I agree. Traditional seating is usually bigger tables. Its much easier to use MTD for only 2people. And you can make a standing reservation every night at the same time on MTD too.

thanks for the info! I am really torn! I want to meet people at dinner, but I don't think I want to look at the same people for 10 nights in a row!

Have done MTD several times and their are lots of tables for 2. You sit across from each other. However, some of them are so close together that you are really almost with the couples on both sides of you. You can have conversations with them if you want or not.
