Cruising from Baltimore to Port Canaveral

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Me and 3 buddies will be arriving in Port Canaveral from Baltimore on Feb. 9. I have two quick questions!

1- What should we expect the weather to be?

2- What is the best way to get to Walt Disney? (Any more info about the Parks there will be well appreciated!)

Thanks

By February you should expect low 70's during the day and low 50's at night; extremes of high 80's down to the 30's are always possible.

WDW is about a 45-60 minute drive from the port - to me that's a long way to go for a short day in an expensive theme park. Besides the ship's excursion you could rent a car or sign up with a shuttle service. Check the Pride reviews on both the East coast departures board and the Carnival board for suggestions as to what other cruisers did. Good luck! :)

Are you planning on going to Disney World as part of a shore excursion? or are you ending your cruise at Port Canaveral?

I suspect the OP is cruising on the Pride, which stops in PC before heading to Nassau and Freeport.
