MadMarine Posted January 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2011 Hi All, We are going on Silverseas voyage 2112, Venice to Rome in May. Do you know when I'll know what terminal in Venice we will be leaving from? I know that the smaller ships usually depart from San Basilio but would like to know when this will be announced by Silverseas. Thanks for your help, Tom
wripro Posted January 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2011 Not sure that they'll announce it per se. You'll probably see it in your finals docs. Odds are it will be San Basilio.
SusanNJ Posted January 11, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 11, 2011 The terminal, if it is the same one that Seabourn and Regent use, is extremely small and located directly across the canal from Hilton Mulino Stucky. As a matter of fact the Stucky has a free shuttle that left us several 100 feet from the terminal.
MadMarine Posted January 13, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted January 13, 2011 Thanks for the responses. I'll await the travel docs to verify, but the sounds like San Basilio is the right place.
Rocchi Posted January 14, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2011 MadMarine Found this web site, see these pages. http://www.vtp.it/calendario/ricerca.jsp?CercaNave=OK&password=null&CodN and http://www.vtp.it/terminal/crociere.jsp Looks like check in at terminal building 103 and Wind is at berth 18. If you see the Seabourn Legend, give us a wave. Have a great cruise. Rocchi
MadMarine Posted January 15, 2011 Author #6 Share Posted January 15, 2011 Rocci, Thanks for the posting. I checked that site a couple of days ago and it only had the ferry schedule available. The schedule for the ships was only available for agents. I see that I can now look at it. Thanks again for your help, Mad
