Allure Balcony Cabin 14216

Ok gang booked this cabin for our June trip, was wondering if there are any downside to this cabin, such as blocked views, is it a connecting room, noisy roof top, whats above us etc....

 

I guess what I am asking is higher better?? Any comments would be GREAT!!

Higher isn't always better...;) Always look at a deckplan when booking for more info...

there are a few allure threads that mention people who were on deck 14 and the noise bothered them.

We were on deck 11 aft, portside. Alot of walking but didn't gain a pound!

 

No noise, but do look at a deck plans and stay away from crew areas on your deck.

 

We've book a June trip, too. Deck 11 aft, starboard, this time.

We are booked in this exact cabin for June 2014. Any advice? Should we switch it while we still have time??

We were in a room on deck 14 last February. As far as noise from the pool deck above it was minimal. We had no problem with noise. We are sailing again soon and picked a room on deck 14 again. The nice thing is when going to the pool deck its only one flight of stairs up and your there.

Thanks. I went ahead and changed it to 12606. I was afraid of early morning noise!! We stay up late but really like to sleep in and didn't want to hear deck chairs being dragged over our heads! Probably worried about about nothing, but deck 12 will be high enough!
