Need hotel recommendations near Colon Hotel.

In that area we like Pla (modern romantic date slightly upscale),

El Xampanyet (near Museu Picasso), tapas, Cavas, great people watching,

and Sagardi- both for the casual tapas side and the sit-down fancier restaurant side.

 

At the tapas side of Sagardi- ask for a plate, then serve yourself at the counter bar from the tapas selections. keep your toothpicks on your plate, they will tally them up at the end for your bill.

There is a wonderful restaurant on the side street that Hotel Colon is on.
