aliaschief Posted January 16, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2011 We will have a short stop in Cherbourg, France on our May TA. If you had time for a nice lunch (French Cuisine) where would you go? Would appreciate your recommendations. Thanks.
SarniaLo Posted January 18, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2011 Le Vauban (22 Quai de Caligny, Cherbourg). Good products, good quality, traditional French cuisine with a modern twist, a good choice. Le Pily (39 Grande Rue, Cherbourg), a small restaurant with a limited menu (it changes every month or so) but nice local season products and refined, modern French cuisine. They just received their first Michelin Star. Their website (sorry, in French only). Both these restaurants have a good reputation in Cherbourg, and are within walking distance of the harbor. aliaschief Posted January 19, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted January 19, 2011 Just to add on to DH - the Bing translator does a fine job converting the menu into English! S
