luv2go1 Posted January 23, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2011 My husband and I are looking at going on our first ever cruise for our 25th Anniversary. We'd like to escape the Wisconsin winter and go in late February of 2012. We're wondering what the weather should be like in Coco Cay (and on the ship also). Warm enough to swim or snorkel? I'm so glad to have found CC!
cb at sea Posted January 24, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2011 Unless there's some far-reaching cold front from Canada, you certainly should be able to sun...I think seawater under 80 degrees is waaaay too cold, but you might think it's warm, being from the north! Unless I get really hot and sweaty in the sun, I feel no need to get in the water!

SteelerCruiser Posted January 30, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2011 we have been to CoCoa Cay this time of year and missed the port b/c of the seas being to rough to use tenders....we have also been able to get onto the island this time of year as well......we were ther in Jan. of last year and got in the water.......yes it was a bit on the chilly side....but man this place is paradise and more than likely you will be able to adjust to the water.........especially being from Wisconsin I am sure the temps will be a nice change of pace for you guys.........Have fun and welcome to the cruising addiction:p
