Newark Area Restaurant Suggestions

Some of us who are sailing 2/6 are looking for moderately priced restaurant suggestions in the Newark/Elizabeth area - no chain restaurants. We'll be driving, so we need to be able to park easily. I've looked at the menus for Los Faroles and Iberia.

Someone must have eaten dinner in Newark or Elizabeth at someplace other than the airport. We're just looking for options to explore.

I've been to a few. Try the Spanish Tavern (you can google reviews). One thing that stands out is that it's large, with a parking lot (many restaurants just have on street parking).

One of our favorites is Don Pepe. I don't know what moderate is considered, but the food is great. We go there often. Happy cruising!
