cb at sea Posted January 28, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2011 If they ask for your room key, you'll be paying for it!
Rare mizLORInj Posted January 28, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 28, 2011 In addition to your cruise fare, you will have daily tips added to your shipboard account, and you'll be asked for your cruise card to charge alcoholic beverages, souvenirs, upcharge restaurant, casino charges, any excursions you book through the cruise ship. These charges will be on a statement you get in your cabin the last night of the cruise and will be charged to the credit card you posted at check-in. kitty9 Posted January 28, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 28, 2011 Celebrity does NOT charge for ice cream and they do not have vending machines for that either. They have an ice cream "bar" located in the buffet area. They have soft serve and regular pack ice cream flavors along with many topping choices that are included in your fare. On Celebrity you pay for all alcohol, soft drinks, juices ordered from a bar or lounge, photos, gratuities, shop purchases, specialty restaurants, specialty coffees, bottled water, casino and bingo, ship sponsored shore excursions and some special classes in the gym. Celebrity offers drinks packages that, if you like soda and bottled water or if you like alcohol beverages, those packages might be a good choice. They offer a soda/bottled water package and different tiers of alcohol packages. We purchased the premium alcohol package that included the soda/bottled water package and it worked out very well for us--it really saved us money. Look at Celebrity's website to see the prices for these packages.
