Ship arrival time and excursion start time?

I'm booking excursions through the Carnival website. The itenerary says our ship arrives at the port at 8am. The excursion I want to book starts at 8am. Since I am booking through Carnivals site, will the excursion wait for us? Thanks for any help.

Yes, you will be fine. The time for the excursion is the time you will be asked to meet up in one of the public rooms. Once the ship has been cleared, they will lead your group off.

When you book thru the cruiseline, you'll have no "time" worries...they'll tell you when and where to meet...and aside from having fun, you do nothing....they handle all!
