We are sailing Serenade next month (1st cruise) & I'm planning to buy the soda card for 3 of our kids, but the 4th one doesn't drink pop! Do you recommend buying the bottles of juices ahead of time or is there always something available for kids during the evening hours (before & after dinner) when they are just doing activities on the ship? Thanks for any suggestions!! :)

Juice is only free at breakfast. I'd bring some juice boxes.

Sorry...I should clarify that he's a teenager (18) and I had noticed that besides the soda card, that bottles of juices were available to purchase prior to cruising for the room. So... is only water available for teenagers in the evenings (for free?) and that's it?

No, hot and iced tea, hot coffee, hot chocolate (cocoa), lemonade, and milk are available. If you don't see milk in the Windjammer for lunch, just ask. MDR will even make chocolate milk. And try making a free milkshake -- put some vanilla or chocolate or strawberry soft serve in about halfway in a glass, add white milk, and stir carefully. And Seattle's Best coffee in Cafe Promenade (deck 5) always tastes great to me -- I like to mix in a packet of the dark hot chocolate to make a free mocha. And you can make fresh lemonade with real lemons if you don't like the mix they use (or you want to use artificial sweetner) -- just ask for water, ice and the lemon slices.

That said, be sure to drink plenty of water. I have read that dehydration is one of the causes for sea sickness.

Coffee, tea, iced tea, lemonade, fruit punch, and I believe they now offer bottles of flavored water in the buffet.

It's not bottled flavored water. It's in glasses just like the tea and lemonade. I've seen them carrying the cartons in the WJ. It's called Vitality. I haven't seen fruit punch.
