for shopping purposes the havensheight pier is much better...we have docked at both and they are almost equal distance from the DT shopping district...which is only about a 6 or 7 minute cab ride away...we have even walked it into the DT area to get some exercise...when shopping in st thomas bring your patience...there are some WONDEFUL deals on jewelry on this port of call...

Have to agree with that! I have read good reviews but we are not ready for that size of a ship and that number of passengers. Just my opinion.

 

Actually, because of the size you do not notice the number of people at all. We are just off a B2B and it was a wonderful experience. Not in a hurry to do again due to Itinerary and it being only 7 days, but am really glad we gave it a whirl. Of course this is just my opinion too, but it is based on having been there:-)
