Where to watch ships leave?

The family and I, are sailing out of port everglades in april. We arrival sat., and board ship mon. We was wondering where will be the best place to watch to ship leave the port. Thanks for the advice.

 

 

From a comfortable chair in the onboard martini bar. With the kids elsewhere.

John Lloyd State Park, which is across the waterway from many of the terminals. There is an admission fee. This would be the view from there..

If you feel like going for a bit of a walk, you can park at the beach and walk down the beach to however close you want to be, right down to the port inlet where you will be within a couple hundred feet from the ships as they exit the port. I haven't found a pic from the rocks looking up at the ships from this vantage point, but I see people down there every time we sail from there.
