Balcony dividers-Freedom class ships

Sailing FOS in 2011. Want to know if the balcony dividers open for 6th deck AFTS? Family will be in 2 rooms side-by-side, but not adjoining.Wondering if balcony dividers open so we can access each others rooms via the balcony?Thanks!

We have heard anecdotally that the balcony dividers on Freedom-class ships can indeed be opened, but that it's "Captain's Discretion" if it will be allowed.

 

We are in the same position as you -- will be sailing FotS in November with family, and have three consecutive balcony cabins aft ... it would be nice to have all three dividing doors open during the cruise.

The aft balcony dividers do NOT open...but the side balcony dividers may...

We are booked in July with balcony cabins and are wondering the same. We've been able in the past to get them to open them, and also our request has been turned down. Guess we will have to wait and see :(
