Confused about Excursions

My husband and I are going on our first cruise on 8/28/2001 on the Carnival Legend. I was looking at the shore excursions and noticed the ones that I want to go on the departure time listed is for the same time the ship is supposed to dock. Does that mean that these are not available for us to go on? It will let me add them to my cart on Carnivals website?

It means that you need to have breakfast early and be ready to go when the ship docks and is cleared to go on shore.

 

If its a Carnival excursion, yes they mean to sell it to anyone on your cruise.

If you buy your ticket online before departure it will either be waiting in your room or will be delivered to your room when your cabin steward prepares your room for bedtime. The ticket will have information on it for meeting time and location. Some will have you meet in a lounge to be taken together to the excursion, others will instruct you to meet on the pier. Have fun!
