jenms2000 Posted March 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2011 Will there be a problem with noise if we book a room under the galley?:)
firefly333 Posted March 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2011 yes, probably, as people have steadily complained on it..only place worse is under the wooden boards where they clean around lido pool
DEBnGAB Posted March 9, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 9, 2011 A friend of mine had a room under the Galley...and what sounded like the floor mixer full blast during prep work at 3am.
jenms2000 Posted March 9, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted March 9, 2011 yes, probably, as people have steadily complained on it..only place worse is under the wooden boards where they clean around lido pool Thanks, that's what I was afraid of. Trying to plan a last minute cruise and the rooms are scarce. Guess I'll take my chances under Circle C.
SANDYJABS Posted March 9, 2011 #5 Share Posted March 9, 2011 Yes I heard noise but I am a light sleeper. DH did not hear the noise that I did. It was every morning very early- not sure what time but it had to be like 5am
DJ56 Posted March 9, 2011 #6 Share Posted March 9, 2011 I had a cabin under the galley on the Glory. It was my first cruise and I was a little concerned. Well only twice did we ever hear anythhing. We were in cabin 2380 if I remember correctly. Hope this helps...

Rosefloater Posted March 9, 2011 #8 Share Posted March 9, 2011 The only noise I heard in E144 on the Paradise was what sounded like 1 tray being dropped every morning at 3am. Other than that no other noises. But almost every cabin will have noise issues. For some reason people like to talk loud on their way to their cabin at night. b-survivor Posted March 9, 2011 #9 Share Posted March 9, 2011 It sounded like an industrial mixer or drill about 2am or 3am every morning. They offered us another cabin on day 3, but it was a 5 day cruise so we just dealt with it.
