I've sent it out when they clean the cabin in the morning and gotten it back that night, but sometimes it's not until the next day around noon.

Yes, if you get it to your Room Steward before 10AM it should be returned that evening. I have found that a small gratuity never hurts to insure that your bag of laundry makes it to the laundry room in time for a 'quick turn around'.

We have been platinum now for about 5 cruises and send out laundry about 3x per cruise and sometimes a little more.

 

Have always gotten it back the same day about 6 pm.

We have seen it both ways (same day and next day). As close as I can figure there are two variables, timing and efficiency. If your room is serviced early enough and how efficient your room steward is.

I've never had my laundry back later than 5:30 PM...

The cabin steward picks it up at about 8:30 AM and it's often back by 3...

Just got off the Miracle last week and our room stewart ask if we needed it back that same day. We told him next day was fine but he did check to be sure we had clean clothes.

While I LOVE this perk....just be sure not to send anything that is delicate or has sentimental value.

 

We have never had anything fade into our clothes but since they are all in a laundry bag with everyone else's clothes.....it can happen.
