Sheraton, Westin, Crown Plaza? (Miami)

Driving down to Miami the afternoon before cruise departure for one night stay. Thanks to the board I learned about last minute travel and have narrowed it down to:

a) Sheraton Ft. Lauderdale Beach Hotel

b) Westin Beach Resort and Spa

c) Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Marina

d) Crowne Plaza Hotel Hollywood Beach, or

e) Gallery One Doubletree.

 

All around the same price- any thoughts????

Are you cruising out of FLL or Miami?

 

You say you are driving to Miami but are only listing FLL hotels.

 

What do you want out of a hotel? Beach, shopping, dining, or attractions?

 

A, B, & D are good beach locations while C & D would be better for shopping, dining, and attractions.

sorry- that was confusing. We are cruising out of Miami but driving down from Jacksonville and just wanted to get close so as to have a short drive the next morning to the port (we will park at the port).

 

Just want a relaxing place to start off our vacation. Would like a little upscale vs. just staying in something off of I-95.

Westin would be my first choice for a relaxing pre cruise stay.

Use priceline almost all your hotels are listed with them. I got the 4 point Sheraton for 65. for 2 night pre cruise. On line wanted 139.
