my diner time on a celebrity ship?

i noticed that celebrity cruise offer a my diner time since early 2010

 

as my only experiece is on norwegian cruise line

 

i was wondering, how does it work on celebrity if example we are two traveller, do they assign you to a table with other people or do you eat with only your travelling friend or family??

On Celebrity, it is called Select Dining. You choose it as an alternative to traditional, fixed seating. You pre-pay your tips when you choose Select Dining, all the tips, not just for the waiters, so keep that in mind when you are booking your cruise and figuring out your budget.

 

You may sit at a table for two, or at a larger table with other people. It is your choice.

The maitre d' will ask you, each night, when you enter the MDR if you would like your own table or if you would like to share.
