Question about Butler and laundry

What is the easiest way to get items pressed. Does the Buter have it done for you? I know this has been asked before but I leave tomm..:) and don't have time to do the search,lol

When packing your suitcase, leave items you want pressed on top. When your suitcase arrives in your suite, they'll be right there for you to pluck out and hand over to your butler.:)

fireguy, you can arrange pressing to be done through the ship's laundry service for a fee. Your butler will take it away for you. You do get priority service in a suite, but still pay for it if you want it expressed (ie next day).

every question has been asked before but there are new people on the board every day so there is no harm in asking and you will always get a response-

 

i do not believe that there are irons available on board---its one of the things that the cruiselines frown upon----------anything that has to do with the possibility of a fire is frowned upon

 

on some of the older hal ships there was a separate room for the self serv laundry and irons

Phil, so far our wifes are going horse back riding at 2 of the stops. My buddy and I are going diving at one stop, I think in Cozomel and renting a jeep for the day in the Caymens. Haven't decided on the other stops yet. I wanna try Zip lining. We have been lucky finding out what to do then getting someone to take us there to do it. Sometimes it cheaper and sometims it isn't but doing it that way we control our time and stop along the way whenever we want.

fireguy, you must have a go at the zip lining if you get a chance. It is a long and bumpy (actually, bone bumpy) trip, but well worth the effort. Here's a picture taken on our trip. You need a head for heights:eek:
