HoopsandYoYo Posted March 20, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2011 We have never been on a cruise that has an overnight stay in a port. Has anyone been on an over-nighter? How does it work? Can you come and go all night or is there a curfew? Thanks!

IMNiles Posted March 20, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2011 Overnights are awesome. With the possible exception of someplace like Russia where there might be hours for immigration/visa processing, you can just come and go as you please.
Ocean Boy Posted March 20, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2011 We overnighted in Bermuda for three nights. It was awesome. You just come and go from the ship as you please.
griffy116 Posted March 20, 2011 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2011 Our overnight was in Maui...and it was fabulous!!! Stayed late, late after the Old Lahaina luau, returned by tender to the ship and woke up the next morning for a full day of excursions. That's my one and only time to stay overnight at a port. NCMtnBoys Posted March 20, 2011 #6 Share Posted March 20, 2011 We have an overnight in Venice coming up in October. First time we'll experience this, and I love the "built-in" "hotel" stay there. The morning following the overnight is the day we disembark ship, so I'm glad that we'll already be in port, having gotten in the day before, so we can catch an EARLY flight.
