Liquor purchases on board / in port

I am confused about this new policy. We are going on the Fantasy out of Charleston on the June 4th cruise. If I buy a bottle of liquor in a port, I have to pick it up the morning we leave the ship. If I buy a bottle of liquor from the ship store, is it delivered to my cabin? If I purchase it the last day, will I take it to my cabin? I hope they change it by then. Having it delivered to the cabin was so convenient. Another question, sometimes we purchase more than our limit and we have to go to customs, how does this work with this new policy. Thanks for helping me understand this !!

If you purchase it the last sea day, past whatever time they tell you, then just take it to your cabin. easy. The time varys. Not supposed to be until the last evening, but they often let you do it mid afternoon.
