johnql Posted March 22, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 22, 2011 Here's the Tapas Menu from the Jewel (might have changed a bit and/or might be different on the Pearl), but it will give you an idea of what's offered. And here are some (so-so) pics of the tapas in the display case.

KevinsCruising Posted March 23, 2011 #10 Share Posted March 23, 2011 Are these the "free" tapas I have read about on these boards? I am not sure if they are free anymore. I am sailing the GEM in 2 weeks and I hope so but I thought they stopped the free ones :(
johnql Posted March 23, 2011 #11 Share Posted March 23, 2011 I am not sure if they are free anymore. I am sailing the GEM in 2 weeks and I hope so but I thought they stopped the free ones :( I haven't seen any posts that indicate that they're not free, but who knows. It used to be that they were free with the purchase of a drink, but some people have posted that they received them without a purchase.

johnql Posted March 23, 2011 #13 Share Posted March 23, 2011 Where are these offered? On ships that have the Tex-Mex restaurant, there's a tapas bar right next to the Tex-Mex restaurant.

newmexicoNita Posted March 24, 2011 #18 Share Posted March 24, 2011 Are tapas part of a specialty restaurant? Whats the cover? As far as I know they are part of the inclusive dining. They can usually be found somewhere around the TX/Mx dining or on the Sun, they are available in Las Rambles. Nita

flowerchild Posted March 24, 2011 #22 Share Posted March 24, 2011 I saw then on the Dawn and on the Star, more recently... They come out around the same time that dinner starts...maybe a little earlier, like cocktail hour. They are very good and were a great surprise when we found them...
