USVI-4-me Posted March 24, 2011 #10 Share Posted March 24, 2011 Princess ships still have open promenades. Enjoy a quiet sit during the day and a stroll after dinner. -Maris
Rare 5:00_Somewhere Posted March 24, 2011 #11 Share Posted March 24, 2011 Have Gelato in the International Cafe (even though there is a very small cost). Have a slice of the wonderful pizza. Enjoy a glass of wine and complimentary sushi and/or tappas at Vines. Have a drink in the Adagio bar. Have dinner at Sabatini's. Go for the Pub Lunch in the Wheelhouse on a sea day. Take a stroll all the way around the ship on the deck 7 Promenade. Oh yeah, and remember to relax and have fun. :D

Although I've cruised with Princess before, I forgot some of these high points. We'll be on the Coral Panama Canal 4/14. This thread is a super checklist. gsmiles4u Posted March 24, 2011 #14 Share Posted March 24, 2011 Try the Sanctuary. If you like wine, consider the first wine tasting event. It was very interesting and elegant. The second one is cheaper, but not nearly as special. Find the lobster claws in the buffet on Sailaway night. Try the flourless chocolate cake. If you want to eat or drink something, just do it, and worry about the cost later! Kiss a stingray at Grand Cayman. Try both the shrimp and chicken salad at the International Cafe early, because you'll want to eat them again. Try the Limoncello on Italian night... you get a little glass to keep, and refills are free.
Elkhorn20fan Posted March 24, 2011 #15 Share Posted March 24, 2011 Have a drink and stuffed olives up at Adagio Don't miss the pub lunch in the wheelhouse bar. Try out the pool and hot tubs after dinner, great star gazing, not many people.

Pam in CA Posted March 25, 2011 #19 Share Posted March 25, 2011 Thank you to all posters for the great suggestions. Although I've cruised with Princess before, I forgot some of these high points. We'll be on the Coral Panama Canal 4/14. This thread is a super checklist. The Coral doesn't have an International Cafe, Vines, or Adagio Bar. :( But she does have a lot fewer passengers and much better passenger space ratio, making it relatively easy to get a table in the buffet or walk around a less crowded ship. shepp Posted March 25, 2011 #20 Share Posted March 25, 2011 Spend some time figuring out how to frame a "what should I do?" query so that people responding to it have some idea of who you are and what you like to do.
