Not looking good for Galveston 2012

Yep ... as I noted above, only Carnival sails year-round from Galveston ... and that won't change through 2013, as far as the schedules show right now.

 

Yep. Galveston is a huge money maker for Carnival. They are upgrading both of their ships at the end of the year.

 

Conquest (2,974 pax) will be upgraded by the brand new Magic (3,690 pax) doing 7 day Eastern & Western Cruises

 

Ecstasy (2,052 pax) will be upgraded by the Triumph (2,758 pax) doing 4 & 5 day Western Caribbean cruises.

 

So Carnival is doing a major capacity increase for Galveston.
