NYC hotels

:) I'm booked on the QM2 for July,5th out of New York. I'll be coming into NYC on the 3rd, to avoid traveling on the 4th, and I'm looking for a "reasonably" priced hotel near the port. Any suggestions?

we stayed at the belvedere near times sq, i bielive on 48 th st.

price about 175. for out pre-cruise in sept.

nice, clean, AAA rated. we walked to the port just to see it and its only about a 15 minute walk(safe also) this is also where the circle line tour boat dock is. the Queen was in port the same day and it looked awsome! enjoy!

:) :)Thanks for the info! I will check them out. With it being so close, and safe I could even walk to the port after check out, and avoid a taxi taking "the scenic route"! I'm going to be in the UK for about a month....so trying to save my $$$$$ for over there.

That is Marathon Weekend in NYC which is one of the busiest and most expensive weekends of the year there.

 

I booked the Seaport Suites traditionally for $199 a night November 3-7th. I would book a cancelable backup now and start stalking websites.

 

I wouldn't even bother with priceline. Doubtful they will be given any inventory.

I got really lucky and got the Embassy Suites Flagship in NYC for 145 USD plus tax via Hotwire

P.S. It is the only suites hotel in the finacial district therefore easy to "spot " on Hotwire

Moeve, the Club Quarters is also a suite hotel in the Financial District.
