I'm sure someone out there knows this...

What's the first cruise for the Summit after her Solstication in January, and where is this? First one I found in January is the 28th from San Juan. Is this the first one? Is it correct that she will drydock in January? And where do they do this???

Thanks alot, can't wait for your answers ;)

Only 1 cruise done, and already an addict!

Sometimes the ships go to Freeport in the Bahamas for drydocks. Not

sure if Summit is going there or not. Yes, the January 28th sailing is

the first one after she is Solsticizied.

How long is Summit in for drydock? What are the major projects?

Hi Artvlay !

Summit will be in Drydock for 3 weeks. She returns to service on 1/28/12

Here's a link to Celebrity's Press Release from February, with Summit's Drydock details :

My wife and I will be on the Summit on Jan 28 for my belated 50th birthday celebration...My birthday is Jan 11. The itinerary looks kind of interesting...All USVI except for Grenada and Dominica. The cruise is also very port intensive, there is only one sea day on day 6. I have also been a little bit bummed by reading the Celebrity boards over the last couple of days and noticing posts about how "the ship goes to bed at around 9PM". We are not crazy partiers, but do not really want to join the "Geritol" club yet....

There is always a show that starts after 10pm. The casino is open too.

I have sailed Summit quite a few times and I am usually up till around

midnight.

I don't consider myself in the Geritol club..I am 53. Not sure what

that is considered anymore:eek:

Lois...50 is the new 30! Here's to us, the end of the baby boom generation.... I was just wondering how hard it would be to get a night cap(are there a bunch of bars open?) after that 10PM show...we have late dinner

Hi, I have always found a place for a drink:)...not hard to find a place

for a nightcap but I won't say are "bunch of bars"....but then again

I only need one;).....but there are a few:D

But one thing....I have read the same postings as you have and I just

think we all have different priorities and different things make different

people happy. What is important to one person might be different to

another one. It is called "Different strokes for different folks".

And I always have late dining too.
