good success with ES so far

Recommended Posts

Saved $60 with our ES rates so far. I'm pretty pleased with that. I booked with really low rates, so I'm actually really surprised that it's gone down, but I'll take it! It may not be a ton of money, but it all helps. This is the second time that I've filled out the form. It's easy to do. I only check the prices about once a week. So far, so good. I'm putting it on as on board credit. Hoping to help pay for sodas for all my kids. lol. :D

Congratulations !!! We booked ES as well and I usually check the prices about once a day. We have saved $80.00 so far with ES and as you said we had great rates to begin with, but was really excited about the decrease. It would be great for the price to come down even more, but if it doesn't it's OK. Either way I feel we got a great deal and we are very satisfied. :D

Me and my buddy has done great with ES,I currently have 430 obc and my buddy has around 600. All of our catagories are sold out,so we can't

get any more obc. We sail away on April 23rd, good luck with more obc.

ccb, keep checking, sometimes someone will upgrade from your catagory and open up a cabin. They will try and sell it fast at a lower rate and you can get the lower rate. Worked for me for 500.00 OBC

Loving ES. I submitted another form today. Hopefully, this one gets accepted as well. Haven't had any denials yet. Another $40 puts me up to $100. I'm having to assume that those that got $600 + in onboard credit didn't book an inside cabin. lol. My whole cabin is only costing $1300 for 4 people, so I can't imagine that I'm going to get $600 in price drops before we go! I'm pretty pleased with $100 though. :)

Let's see... if I did get $600 in price drops before we left, that would mean our 7 night cruise was costing about $150 per person plus tax. lol. Now THAT would be an awesome deal!! I won't hold my breath. :)

I sent in my 1st request today for a $20 decrease on a 1A. Those usually NEVER go down before selling out. Yesterday there weren't any coming up, but when I checked today, voila, a lowball price:) I'm really glad that someone decided to upgrade and open it up:D

We have $650 each ($1300 total) in ES price drops on our Magic sailing but we had to upgrade from an aft wrap to an ocean suite to do that. I couldn't pass up the OBC and even though we like the aft wraps we've had them before and will have them again. It's not like the suite is going to be bad. Add to the $1300 - $400 in shareholder and FCC credit - and $950 for this being both of our Milestone cruise and we're up to $2650 total. Basically one of us is sailing for free and we still have extra money. I love this!

On our Pride cruise in May, we got upgraded from an 8B balcony to an 8K extended balcony, plus got several price reductions along the way. They have all been before the final payment, so no additional OBC yet. We did get a nice amount of OBC from our travel agent and $100 in OBC for our Future cruise certificate. We are also getting a bon voyage gift from the casino thanks to this board, and all the perks that go along with being Platinum. What more could we get?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. This is our first time going ES and we only booked a few days ago. So far no price drops but we're still 6 months out. Booked a 4J so we'll have to see what happens. I'd rather just have the OBC as we've cabins near friends and would rather not upgrade.
