Are there taxis waiting at Horseshoe Bay?

Are there usually taxis waiting at Horseshoe Bay or will we need to take the bus back to our ship? What is the cost for 6 people to take a taxi to the Dockyards from Horseshoe Bay?

Alternatively, can we hire a taxi there for a short tour of the island after spending some time at the beach?

If you take a cab to Horseshoe Bay, if you ask the driver to pick you up at such and such a time, he will. Combining a tour with the ride back should be no problem. However, if there are 6 of you, and a cab driver, that makes 7 people in one vehicle..... you'll most likely need two cabs.

There will be taxis waiting but maybe not one that holds six. You might have to take two taxis or they can call the taxi company for a larger taxi.

Yes, you can take a tour of the island by taxi. Some drivers are specially trained and those may or may not be waiting at Horseshoe. I suggest calling one of the taxi companies and arranging for that in advance.

Been in three or four taxis in Bermuda with six plus the driver so it is possible. I suggest arranging in advance but we never had to.

If it should happen to rain, don't count on seeing any. Even the guy with the van for a $2 ride up the hill was not there and the walk up seems longer in the rain.:D

Like others said, best to make arrangements ahead so your "chariot awaits you".:)
