hondorner Posted April 29, 2011 #26 Share Posted April 29, 2011 Don I hate to disagree with you because you are the expert but;) We were in 7114 & the bath was on the left same as the bumpout http://community.webshots.com/photo/fullsize/2490955100101934561waPpNm The door is recessed from the hallway walls Lyn You know, I think you're correct! It goes to show that even though I was tthere for 34 days, and even though I only left it 62 days ago, I need to get back on Marina to refresh my aged memory! We were in 7108 on the Maiden Voyage, where my red arrow is pointing, and it was indeed on the right -- because I sleep on the right side of the bed, and I was closest to the closet. We were upgraded to 9026 for the rest of the voyage, and it weas on the left. I just got a little memory phart. Thanks, Lyn!

dcdee Posted May 1, 2011 #28 Share Posted May 1, 2011 I don't know about 6057 but we've stayed in 7057 on several occasions on the Regatta/Nautica, etc. and the bathroom is on the left as you enter.
Mura Posted May 1, 2011 #29 Share Posted May 1, 2011 I have to laugh at myself because as I was reading all your answers I couldn't understand the problem. Of COURSE all the beds face forward ... into the room. Then the light bulb went off. Oh, you mean forward as in the direction the ship is going, as opposed to forward as in the direction where it has been! Now I get it! And since I'm prone to seasickness myself, I begin to wonder if that's been a problem for me in the past as well! I'm aware of the problem of riding backward on a train but I never thought about it in terms of sea travel! I'll have to pay more attention in the future ... And as I think about it, I'm getting a wee bit seasick even though I'm quite sure our apartment building is NOT going anywhere! Well, we are very close to the Port of NYC ... about a block away ... The direction one's bed faces plays a very important part in many lives. All bridge players who play as couples know that if they sit in the same orientation as the bed, they will get better cards... What was the view from the balcony? Thanks, Olga The views are constantly changing ;) The balcony is deeper so you have more of a tunnel view they are about 8 X12 The downside is that you are overlooked but if that does not bother you it is a great cabin You can view some photos http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2141293180101934561rfUlzc Lyn
