Liverpool - Beatles?

We are interested in going to see the Beatles place. Can we walk from the ship or do we need a taxi or does Princess have a shuttle into town?

I did the Princess cruise to Liverpool and you are in walking distance of the Beatles museum- very close and easy walk. Liverpool also offers the Beatles bus tour of the city. I just did the hop-on-hop off bus which was good but if you are a Beatles fan- I suggest doing the Beatles bus tour. Both types of tour buses are right near the port- very close by. I found Liverpool to be a great port because you dock right in the city. I felt safe every where I went. Its still a blue collar working class city but not dirty or dangerous. In other words- nothing like some of the horrible US cities.

A beetle museum would be fascinating. I find that insects are among the most interesting of creatures.

Thanks for the information about the Beatles museum and bus tour. We are in Liverpool from 7-7 so we might be able to do the museum and the HO/HO bus. Do you remember roughly how long the HO/HO bus took? Did you get off anywhere or just stay on?

We will probably do a Pool of Life Beatles tour and then hit the Beatles Story museum/experience.
