What do you buy in Nassau?

just wondering what they are notated for there, I have been before but never see anythingI should buy for a souvenir however I am not sure what they have thats unique to them either.....thanks

It's hard to find a unique item in most of the Caribbean islands. Even in the straw market areas you have to be careful that the hand-made item was actually crafted locally and not imported from Guatamala or China.

 

I like the rum cakes, hot sauces, jams, or local liqueurs. For a more lasting memento, a local cookbook or something that I know was made locally.
