SailingSal Posted May 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted May 2, 2011 I am thinking of up-grading from a hump D1 room to a jr. suite on Serenade of the Seas. Room 1038 has an obstructive view. I called and was told it is 5% obstructive view? I am not sure what that means. Has anyone been in 1038 and can share their "view"? No pun intended! Thanks!:D
cb at sea Posted May 3, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2011 Don't worry about a 5% "obstruction"....not a big deal! We were in a JS with what they said was a 25% obstruction...and it was a ladder hanging ABOVE our heads! Obstructed nothing at all. I can't think of a thing that is there to block any sort of view at all. of course, the lifeboats are below, but they're below everyone on the sides of the ship! Not an obstruction! You will LOVE a JS...so roomy and nice! Bigger balcony, too! It's the nicest way to cruise!
SANDY823 Posted May 10, 2011 #3 Share Posted May 10, 2011 THE obstruction on the Serenade 1038 is that is where the window washer machine is parked... So it will be partially in front of your balcony
