ATM on Explorer of the Seas?

Recommended Posts

Is there an ATM on Explorer of the Seas? Unfortionatly I get paid the day after we leave NJ so I need to find a way to get cash. Wondering if I need to use the Sea Pass or if there is an ATM?

All the ships have ATMs, but unless you are taking more than $300 at one time, it is less expensive to charge cash to your seapass at the casino. I'm pretty sure I remember that they chage 2% at the cashier window, and the ATM fee is six dollars. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong on those figures.

There is an ATM on every ship, but they run out of money quickly and sometimes break down, so get the money you need as soon as you can. You can also cash one check per cabin for $200 (or $250 if you have an American Express credit card) at Guest Services. Take your driver's license with you to Guest Services for i.d.

And I shall. :)

The casino charges 3%, and the ATM charges a flat $6 per transaction regardless of the amount. (but there is a maximum amount that you can withdraw, and I do not know that figure).

Thus, the ATM is break-even with the casino at $200, and more economical for amounts over $200.

Thanks Merion_Mom :D

BTW. My birth certificate says that I was born in Lankanau Hospital in Lower Merion County. From what I know, that must be somewhere around Philadelphia. My family moved from Philly shortly after I was born.

It's a small world, Sam!

That's about a mile from my house, and I gave birth to both of my children there. :)
