Best Western???

Has anyone stayed in a Bestwestern in Barcelona?

 

Also....which location would be in the city and close to the port?

I have not stayed at a Best Western in Barcelona but I have visited there twice and know something about the area.

The BW site lists only a few IN Barcelona.

This one has the highest rating on Trip Advisor:

It is in an upscale residential neighborhood with great restaurants called the left Eixample(ay-SHOM-pluh).

It will cost about 25euro for a taxi from the airport (depending on how much luggage you have) and not much more to the port.

The port is at the bottom of the city itself so you can pretty much stay anywhere and use taxis.

There IS one BW closer to the port which is the 54 Hotel in the neighborhood of Barceloneta but the reviews don't sound as good.
