So did I! Class of 2008! Yes it is a great school!

 

 

she was there untill 1999 and then she joined the Coast Guard and was in the honor Guard , in Washington, now 13 yrs in the Coast Guard and a chief. She was in the penagon on 911, she made it thru Thank God !!!

 

My baby boy now 19 goes to Eckerd College in St Peter FL .

what is the frist thing you do when you board the ship?;)

 

 

Since this is a new ship, I want to check out all the areas of the ship, I plan to spend a few days before in Barcelona. :)

 

Come do some chatting while we wait for prices. :D

I see a past guest rate for a double on the carnival board is 4601.14 for a bal. I would think a group rate would be better than that , or else why would it be a group rate:eek:. The group rate most of the time has some perks.

We lived in Ireland for a year, two years ago. We saw a lot of things, but thought a cruise would be a different way to see things. The prices are ok but not low by any means. The 3rd and 4th person are also higher than I expected. I am a little concerned about airfare as even if we shop around and plan it would still be about $1200 per person for us.

I'm not sure what group rates have been like lately but I have seen many in the last year that are higher than the ES rate. I think the discount varies depending on the cruise.

Yes true, we will see. I started a thread back in January for Europe and pricing for Carnival was not out yet. I looked at NCL and they had great pricing, however group rate was no better than what they were offering for a special they were running. I temp. booked that and it was a great deal. I do love Carnival and want very much for the group to work out. However I understand it will all add up to pricing. The same goes for me also.

 

If you shop air consolidaters you may get a great rate on air. June seems to be a little better on air than the other sailings.
