Redeem RCCL Points - Contact and Rules?

Hello,

 

I have a couple questions about the RCCL Visa points program and I am hoping my fellow cruises can help me out.

 

1. Can you redeem points at 10k even though that is not listed as an option on the Visa website? I see 5k listed and 15k listed.

2. Who do you call to get the certificates?

I have tried the 800 number on the back of the card and been sent in circles with the different options.

 

Any insight to redemtion thresholds and contact information would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the directions:

 

Ready to redeem your Royal Caribbean Reward?

Follow these simple steps:

1. Call 1-800-421-2110 to redeem your Royal points

for a Royal coupon.*

2. Please be prepared to provide your rewards

selection and the number of points you wish to

redeem and Royal points will be deducted from your

total point earnings. A coupon with your rewards

option will be mailed to you.

(Please allow 2-4 weeks for receipt of your coupon.)

* Royal points are only redeemable in the form of Royal coupons.

Royal points expire sixty (60) months, or approximately five (5) years, after posted.

When you call the 1-800 number on the back of your card.........just keep pressing "0". Forget the loop.......it can be annoying. You want to speak to a representative.

 

I can't remember if there is a 10K or not. But if not just ask for 2 5K certificates. Make sure that you tell them you are redeeming points. Some of the reps are not too bright at BofA.
