4 person scenic ocean view vs 4 person standard balcony on Liberty

I was thinking about booking the scenic ocean view on Spa Deck and was wondering if it was worth it to upgrade to a balcony. It looks like you lose inside space to get outside space and you are on a lower deck Verandah or Lido.

It depends on the 4 people in the cabin. Are they all adults or are the kids?

2 adults, kids will be 9 and 12. I was looking at inside first, then it was $300 more total to go to ocean view, another $240 to make it scenic and another $230 to have a basic balcony.

Personally I love the balconies.

When are you going? We had the same decision on the freedom a few years back and decided to go with the family OV. The freedom went into dry dock before we went and when we opened our door they change the room to a balcony. THe reason I mention this is because the Liberty is going into drydock this oct, so we switched to a family OV for april 2012, keeping fingers crossed.

April 2012 as well and I had been thinking the same thing but do not know if they have enough time to switch to balconies. Of course I though they were adding on space, when all they do is convert space.

We are in room 1101 leaving on the 14th of April.

For 300 total I would move. Especially with the kids, the balcony is like another seperate room, and you know the kids would love it.
